The first 3 years of this role focussed on the integration of our European and Asian markets into our global IT services centre in South Africa. This included the harmonisation of software, infrastructure, management/governance, change, risk, incident management as well as the people/culture fit and budgetary processes. In addition to this ensuring first-class provision of IT services/projects for all of our sites encompassing our international business across Europe (7 sites), Taiwan, USA, Canada, Brazil. Latterly, over the last 2-3 years this role has moved into primarily one of business separation as a result of business divestiture. The main objective is to manage a transitional services agreement (TSA) with our current IT providers whilst ensuring the business has adequate future coverage in the IT space with regards to software, infrastructure, IT security, governance, people, process and partnership upon expiry of the TSA. This has to be aligned to future business size and scale as well as catering for future business growth and expansion in line with business planning over the next 5+ years.
