About Daniel Moran

As I reach nearly 30 years experience in IT, I\'m proud to say how far I have come from the days of computer clubs and PC user groups. I\'ve had tremendous opportunities to not only learn about the logistics industry, but also keeping up with technology at home, office and data center. I\'ve used my desire to solve problems to help organizations of all sizes succeed, survive and thrive in that time. In my current role at SMS Datacenter I still am focused on that mission of solving problems. I do so in two primary ways: offering LTL trucking solutions through the SMS TGIF Software solution, and offering cost-effective computing solutions for those on the IBM i platform with colocation, hosting and/or support. Despite the difficult times we\'ve been fortunate enough to keep steady and still grow, and we are working hard to grow even more! Have a problem? I want to help you solve it.    Head the combined department of TGIF TransFormation software and IBM i hosting offerings for SMS Datacenter. Oversee the group and continue to look for further growth opportunities by leveraging our skills and resources.Responsible for the TGIF TransFormation software solution, its customers and all development and support. Continue to develop roadmap strategy for TGIF TransFormation, independent ILE RPG development, IBM Power hosting and other consulting needs as requested by the other departments at SMS Datacenter. Current efforts include PowerBI integration, consolidation of common program code to a single functional code base, EDI/API enhancements. Have successfully increased revenue and maintained profitability for the department after acquisition by SMS Datacenter in 2021.
