About Garvit Gulati

I am Garvit Gulati, a final year undergraduate at IIT Roorkee in Metallurgy & Materials Engineering. Coming from a family business background, I have been passionate about business ever since I was a child. When I am in Jalandhar, I head my family businesses of bathroom fittings and accessories, Nicy (since 1989) and draught beer equipment, Spiffy. When I am in Roorkee, I am an active part of E-Cell IITR, the community of startup founders at IIT Roorkee. I have worked as an intern at a social networking startup, 8 club, headquartered in Bangalore. I have had the opportunity to go on an exchange semester from IIT Roorkee to Lucerne University of Applied Sciences (HSLU), Switzerland where I learn the skills of applied sciences. I worked on engineering Industrial projects and learned how to apply the skills of financial controlling in a corporate and servitization of a business as a service designer in real life. I aspire to work for startups or venture capital firms where I can provide my full potential and contribute to driving growth, innovation, and strategic decision-making. Leveraging my entrepreneurial background and problem-solving skills, I aim to create meaningful impact by supporting visionary ideas and scaling businesses to new heights.

1. Product and Growth Intern

   Open Network For Digital Commerce (ONDC)

   May 2025 — Present · New Delhi, IN

   Building the product and handling the Food delivery business at DigiHaat, a buyer application at ONDC funded by the Ministry of Commerce and Industries, disrupting Zomato and Swiggy and giving more leverage to restaurants at lower commissions.
