Libryo is a London based regtech company. It\'s the regulatory data as a service platform which gives compliance folk in global companies and banks, and their professional advisers, the freedom to know the specific regulations faced in any situation.Prior to co-founding Libryo, Garth was a partner at Gunstons, an agile, mid-market South African law firm. There he led and managed the corporate department and gained valuable experience in all aspects of business strategy and management and in legal compliance and corporate governance. Practising law in the traditional manner, Garth came to believe that legal value is best delivered at scale through web-based technology. That’s why he co-founded Libryo. Before law, Garth completed a Bachelor of Science with specialisation fields in Environmental and Geographical Science and Ecology. He is passionate about helping corporations and other organisations to optimally manage their environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) concerns in order to decrease risk, increase returns and create value.Garth is happily married to Lauren (post-doctoral stem-cell researcher at Oxford University) and has one son, Joel. He’s a keen cyclist, and dreams up most of his legaltech ideas on the bike.
