Achievers is a leader in rewards andrecognition.• Used Swagger to generate templates for API development anddocumentation for clients, reducing development time for APIsfrom days to hours• Prototyped and pushed for using gRPC for Microservicesframework, increasing response speed by 5x at minimum• Managed project to switch from REST to GraphQL, enabling us toreduce the amount of API calls the frontend was making• Performed PoCs with different authentication systems as well asperformance testing and configuration on the chosen system,opting for Keycloak, saving the company $100k in yearly enterprisefees• Performance tested Microservices and documented idealconfiguration for services in Kubernetes and GCP, reducing requesttimes from 2-3s to 200ms~• Performed PoC for Async gRPC in Python, as well as Go as asecondary language for our Microservices• Part of the Apollo GraphQL Gateway team, cleaned up the PoCcodebase, formalized unit testing, and worked with feature teamsto help them integrate their microservices• Performed framework design, reviewed design docs, and acted asArchitecture liaison to feature teams, which involved bi-weeklymeetings where we reviewed what they were currently working on,how we can help, review of Microservice design, and reviewedMicroservice performance/SLA/SLO
