ABOUT GARRY SOOLE

Extensive experience in Business Analysis, Requirements Management, UML / Use Cases, Business Architecture, Data Modelling, Enterprise Architecture, Programme/Project Management. Currently part of a squad at healthAlliance implementing and configuring solutions for Radiology Online Bookings. Prior contract at ADHB included requirements specifications for the: • Implementation of ISCV (IntelliSpace CardioVascular) to generate reports from Echocardiographs and Holter Monitors; • Patient Pathway project to digitise and streamline the elective surgery journey; • Development of the Pathology BI environment to report on Lab KPIs for Northland DHB, Waitemata DHB, Auckland DHB and Counties-Manukau DHB; • Development and publication of the RFP for a new Dictation and Transcription platform to replace the Dictaphones currently used by ADHB Medical Specialists and Surgeons and to improve / streamline processes for 75 ADHB Transcriptionists by implementing speech recognition software to generate the text for most of the transcription; • Lab eOrders Project to implement Sysmex Éclair electronic orders to request Blood specimens, Microbiology specimens and/or Anatomical Pathology specimens from Inpatients at three ADHB hospitals, replacing the current paper-based system; and • NHI Format Change Project to ensure ADHB’s systems will accept NHI (patient identifiers) in the new format approved by the Ministry Of Health. Previous contracts have included: • Development of the Data Lake for JBA (Joint Border Analytics consortium of govt departments) • Development of the RFP (released in June 2019) to replace Auckland Airport\'s Asset Management and Service Management systems; • Lead BA for Watercare\'s STP (Strategic Transformation Programme) during the RFP process and then Developer in two agile squads for implementation and configuration of the selected solution; • Lead BA for several \'Fresh Start\' projects at Chorus including the NOC (Network Operations Centre) Transformation Project (implementation of BMC Remedy ITSM to over 600 users involved in Chorus\' Network Change Management and Network Incident Management functions); • Development of the Non-Functional Requirements specification for Chorus\' ERP Transition Project (implementation of SAP R6) and the BI Transformation Project. Experience in multiple industry sectors having worked at Auckland District Health Board, Joint Border Analytics, Watercare, Air New Zealand, Telecom NZ (now Spark), CLEAR Communications, Baycorp Advantage, Vector, Veda Advantage, UDC Finance / ANZ Group, Auckland Council and Chorus.
