About Garry Jamieson

During my forty plus years in the semiconductor industry I have run the entire gamut of jobs and worked in many different environments. These range from research and development at British Telecom Research Laboratories in the UK to General Manager for a local, successful, multi-million dollar company based here in Mesa Arizona. For the past fifteen years I have been managing Customer accounts and the infrastructure which accompanies that commitment, a refurbishment company with 35 employees and a group dedicated to serving the legacy ion implant and auto-etch product lines. Along the way I have developed and implemented many strategies and programs to resolve problems. I am a problem solver. With my technical background in Ion Implant, I can problem solve down to component level. Therefore, I am able to interface with management and technicians procedurally and technically. Specialties: Problem assessment and recovery program implementation; High Vacuum Troubleshooting; AMAT Ion Implant maintenance and repair; Fault finding to component level Fast learner As Principal Equipment Engineer (Ion Implant) it has been extremely rewarding and provided me with the opportunity to \'get back to the Equipment\' with hands-on experience. With the closure of Microchip Fab2, another interesting opportunity has risen. I am looking forward to working with Glemco and bringing my varied experience to the role of Technical Sales Engineer. I am very excited to explore the many products and services they provide.
