A place to grow your friendships by hanging out more often Hangouts are not planned events. They are hangouts. People\'s biggest hurdle to hanging out is planning: everyone is so busy! Pueblo is here to remove the planning from the hang out. We are building a new way of communication tailored specifically towards hanging out with the people you love, and those you will love. Loneliness has become an epidemic, with health effects comparable to obesity and tobacco. Current ways of communication don\'t allow for spontaneous hangouts, optimizing instead for planning and coordination. Nowhere in our past did people need to frantically plan in order to hang out. Why is it so difficult today? If we get lonely the first thing we are told is to put ourselves out there and meet new people, but that is hard! And after a while it becomes exhausting to try over and over, meet 20 different people but fail to develop a deeper connection with any of them. If the way to build community is to try hard, then millions of people are actively being deterred. Not everyone has the energy or time to try hard. Community shouldn\'t be about trying, it should be a default. If people need community, people need Pueblo.
