My name is Garrhet. I’m a creative director, designer, and storyteller based in Missoula, Montana — a small town in the heart of the rocky mountains that constantly reminds me why I fell in love with creating in the first place. Growing up in Montana my life was marked and shaped by the mountains that surrounded the small town I grew up in. They were majestic, dangerous, yet mysterious things. It may seem funny to people that grew up in a big city but to me those peaks of jagged rock and ice represented so much.Adventure, purpose, escape. Beyond those mountains lay proof that the life I was living wasn’t an accident. I believe, more than anything, as people we desire purpose. We search for challenging opportunities that break ground in uncharted territory. We live and die in search of mountains to climb. That search has taken me from backcountry ridge-lines to boardroom tables — from the quiet solitude of a Montana morning to the charged hum of weekend project sprints. What I’ve learned along the way is that both worlds are driven by the same thing: vision.For over a decade, I’ve helped brands and creative teams translate visions of the future into reality by blending design, storytelling, and strategy into work that actually moves people.I’ve had the privilege of directing creative work for outdoor and fintech brands, built design systems that bring clarity to complexity, produced campaigns for best-selling authors, designed digital products used by thousands, and developed cinematic visuals for both commercial and documentary projects.… All with the same goal in mind, bringing that mountain on the horizon just a little closer.I’m at my best when I’m connecting ideas to execution — taking something complex and shaping it into something simple, clear, and compelling.If you’re building something meaningful and need a partner who can bring both vision and craft to the table, let’s connect!
