About Garrett Middleton
As a former Sr. Black Belt, I love the opportunities to be creative and problem-solve as a Product Owner. Breaking down complex features into manageable parts, methodically working through tasks on a scrum board, a mandatory love of learning, and working with incredible dev teams.After spending a decade working in supply chain and continuous improvement roles, I revamped my lifestyle and found a passion for being on a product team.HIGHLIGHTS- As a Product Owner, helped bring cutting-edge musculoskeletal software products and features to life through collaboration with our PMs, dev teams, QA, and business ops teams by translating product requests into actionable epics, user stories, and tasks- Multiple full-stack projects built using Python, JavaScript, React, Redux, Flask, Express, and other technologies- As a Sr. Six Sigma Black Belt, owned several concurrent continuous improvement projects, focusing on process redesign through value alignment, adoption rate, and sustainability of improvements. This resulted in over $10M in EBIT savings over five years- I am an alumni volunteer in the “Broad Connect Program,” providing mentorship and career advice for Michigan State University Broad College of Business students.
