I am a member of Charles Schwab\'s Litigation & Regulatory group. I defend the firm in FINRA arbitration matters (as first chair and in partnership with outside counsel) and manage various litigation and regulatory matters. Additionally, I advise business units within Schwab on pre-litigation disputes and workplace investigations.Key functions- Management of litigation pending in court and before industry arbitration panels- Handle merits hearings / trials in FINRA arbitration- Development and implementation of strategy around and management of complex civil litigation and class actions- Management of outside counsel to drive effective litigation strategy- Help formulate and execute strategies to reduce risk throughout the Firm by educating business partners about pending litigation matters- Engage associates and leaders throughout the Firm to leverage their subject matter expertise in rendering advice and directing litigation.
