Working with the Commissioning & Startup team on Air Products’ first-ever zero-carbon facility in La Porte, Texas. The new technology at this world-scale carbon monoxide (CO) production facility will supply CO to LyondellBasell through Air Products’ existing Gulf Coast - and the world’s largest - CO pipeline network. The scope of work includes the planning and execution of rupture blows and line flushes to ensure all piping is cleaned to operational standards prior to plant startup. The La Porte plant is designed to receive natural gas and carbon dioxide to produce syngas that is further processed to produce pipeline grade CO and H2.
