About Garrett Roland

Garrett is a Tax Senior Manager in the Subchapter C Group of Deloitte Tax’s Washington National Tax (WNT) team, primarily working out of the Austin, Texas office. He consults with companies on a wide variety of corporate tax topics, such as spin-offs, business combinations, liquidations, reorganizations, and consolidated tax returns. Prior to joining the Subchapter C Group, Garrett was part of the Business Tax Services practice in Deloitte Tax’s Houston, Texas office. Garrett received his BA in Economics from Rice University and his JD from The University of Texas School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, as well as a member of the Tax section. In his spare time, Garrett enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on the Texas Longhorns, and golfing.
