My primary role has been to provide customers complete service solutions to address their critical rotating and reciprocating assets, protection, and monitoring system with an emphasis in mitigating issues related to vibration. Tasks and Duties- Evaluate vibration and process data from critical turbomachinery for evidence of malfunction (mechanical/instrumentation) or degraded performance- Generate periodic reports to assess the performance of critical turbomachinery- Routinely perform advanced machinery diagnostics tasks including diagnosis of rotor unbalance, mis-alignment, rubbing, tilt-pad bearing fluid instability, rotor seal fluid instability, run out, shaft crack, rolling bearing fault analysis, gear mesh fault analysis, and transient data acquisition/analysis- Setup, configuration, and operation of data acquisition equipment associated with vibration of rotating and reciprocating machinery- Lead and manage periodic/monthly meetings for active customers to provide technical updates and guidance regarding machine asset health and condition.Machinery Diagnostic Services (MDS) Related Activities- Temporary vibration monitoring instrumentation setup (proximity/velomitor/accelerometer probes, Keyphasor), data acquisition via Bently Nevada monitoring platform (ADRE), vibration analysis, and balance of industrial vertical & horizontal hydro pump and turbine-generators.
