Retained, managed, and coordinated a team of 30+ consultants, general contractors, and vendors consisting of prime consultants, urban planners, architects, landscape architects, interior designers, civil / mechanical / electrical / structural engineers, land surveyors, market and business analysts, communication experts, quantity surveyors, lawyers, general contractors, and sub-trades.Contributed to managing the master planning of a $50+ million seniors living campus in southwest Calgary. Oversaw a major land use amendment for the campus, constructing transportation and utility right-of-ways that would service the campus, and actively worked to obtain security reductions/releases.Advanced the planning, design, tendering, and construction of a $17 million multi-residential project in southwest Calgary. The project was an 82-unit apartment building that was concrete construction and five stories in height.Collaborated with the internal Silvera team and external prime consultant team in the preliminary planning of Silvera’s new head office in Bridgeland, Calgary. The preliminary planning included carrying out functional programming for the new office spaces.Retained project teams to design, tender, and carry out construction administration for a series of interior renovation projects in occupied facilities. The project teams consisted of prime consultants, architects, interior designers, and mechanical and electrical engineers.Managed a $7 million+ interior renovation project that consisted of the creation of new staff workspaces and a new front reception.Coordinated and advanced the re-purposing of a 120-unit hotel into a rental apartment building.Worked together with the Alberta Ministry of Seniors & Housing in the development of a $30 million seniors housing facility in northeast Calgary.Assisted in preparing and distributing an RFP to the development industry for the sale of a bare-land Transit Oriented Development [TOD] property in Calgary.

I am an international urban planner/consultant and development specialist who is a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) part of the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) and Alberta Professional Planners Institute (APPI), a Chartered Town Planner part of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), and a member of the International Society Of City And Regional Planners (ISOCARP). My educational background includes a master\'s degree in International Planning and a bachelor\'s degree in Environmental Studies. Acting in tandem with my degrees are specializations in Mega Infrastructure Planning and Land Development. I obtained my master\'s degree from University College London in London, England, and my bachelor\'s degree from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Canada.As a result of extensive work experience and premier schooling, I hold a well-rounded body of planning experience and knowledge from both the professional and academic worlds.
