About Garrett Neal
I am the principal lighting designer at RNLD and a second generation architectural lighting designer. I grew up on my grandfathers job sites and watched my father design at an early age. I feel fortunate to have been passed down an eye for aesthetic and taught the skills to execute the design of a beautiful space.I am currently working on a wide range of projects including large scale hotels, restaurants, multifamily and luxury residences. I have an aptitude of quickly building relationships with our clients and fellow design team members and contractors. My passion for architecture, art, music and travel are applied to each of my projects and clearly communicate the lighting design concepts early in the project. This gives the design team and clients the ability to proceed through each phase confidently. I am an active member in both the Illuminating Engineers Society of North America (IESNA) and the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) and am also (CLD) as a nationally recognized Certified Lighting Designer.Light is known to be an emotionally stirring medium, capable of dynamically transforming a daytime environment into an evening icon. Our objective at RNLD is to create unique environments, atmospheres and excellence in lighting as response to the architecture and space.
