About Garrett Morgan
Garrett Morgan, SVP, Austin Banking Center President has been involved with the Community Banking industry since 2008. Garrett has been with R Bank for eight years and was previously with Green Bank and in Austin, TX since 1984. Prior to being promoted to SVP, Austin Banking Center President, Garrett served in many other positions including: Teller and Credit Analyst at ABC Bank as well as Underwriting Officer, SBA Manager, and Private Banker at Green Bank. Garrett\'s membership with RMA and the RMA Central Texas Board began in 2010 when Mike Shaw, former Chapter President and close friend, recommended joining the RMA board as a means of networking and further education. He has since resigned from the RMA Board. Garrett now serves on the Texas Loan Committee for Capital CDC where he is tasked with approval or decline votes for SBA 504 loans submitted by Bank\'s partnering with Capital CDC. He is also on the Board for Capital CDC in the role of Secretary. Garrett has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University.
