About Garrett Lumens

As a Vice President at HKS Inc, I bring deep architectural expertise to the table having worked on over 100 projects spread over more than 25 states. I\'ve specialized in efficiently and successfully delivering projects that exceed their end performance goals while meeting client and internal expectations. While I\'ve historically worked on retail projects, I am now focusing my attention on the Mission Critical and Industrial sectors. Beyond the base goal of exceeding expectations, I make continued education of my team, myself, and my client a priority so we can all continue to better ourselves. I believe that the built environment has the potential to significantly impact people\'s lives and the health of the planet, and I am dedicated to removing barriers of complexity and limitations to explore all that architecture can influence.I am a WA Registered Architect, LEED GA, and AIA member, while also spending my free time supporting the Seattle Sounders and exploring my hobbies of West Coast Swing dancing, refereeing soccer games, baking sweet treats, and training for my next marathon.
