About Garrett Gray

For 9 years, I served as a Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Officer, working to keep US forces and our allies safe from explosive threats. I led teams through extensive training, managed over $10M worth of equipment, and deployed all over the world. As a military leader, I learned how to communicate complex issues clearly, how to develop a team, and how to manage risk. Now, as a member of NextEra Energy Resources, I am taking all of those leadership lessons and applying them to a new set of challenges: taking part in America\'s clean energy transition and serving the men and women who are working hard to keep our lights on. I am so grateful for all the opportunities I have had, and look forward to many tough but fruitful years to come! My favorite food is carnitas tacos, I\'m passionate about faith and family, and during my free time, I enjoy trail running, playing board games, reading, and pushing toy trucks around the living room with my son.
