As Director of Strategic Development for Med Emporium I am responsible for evaluating contracting opportunities, negotiating financial and contract language terms and developing viable partnerships with payors and health systems. I will develop and maintain strong productive relationships to support the strategic objectives of Med Emporium which contribute to viable strategic partnerships that optimize contract performance.Objectives:• Identify, explore and evaluate all contracting opportunities for alignment with Med Emporium’s strategic objectives• Negotiate financial and contractual language with payers to optimize favorable contract performance• Maximize value based care contracting mechanisms including opportunities for pay for performance and shared savings incentives.• Manage accountable care organizations payor partnerships and downstream relationships to optimize ACO performance• Work closely with finance and analytics team to model potential contract financial terms and monitor contract performance• Evaluate and renegotiate existing contracts for improved contractual performance• Work with operations team to successfully implement contract terms• Maintain and develop payor and provider relationships to ensure long term success of Med Emporium’s contractual partnerships including participation in joint operating committees to promote contract optimization
