Coordinating and using the back office interface of both clearing firms (Apex & Merill Lynch) to make sure client requests are taken care of (Journals, DTC\'s, foreign exchanges, tender offers, cash in lieu, etc.). Working with Microsoft office & Bloomberg databases on a daily basis.Worked with management team to develop disaster recovery & business continuity plans, while also developing compliance projects & procedures for FINRA review. Assist in updating & checking the performance on clients\' account\'s. Reminding clients of the debit balance they might owe, good faith violation or any reminder the client should be aware of.Manage the client risk system on a daily basis. Making sure all clients accounts are up to date on corporate actions (reverse splits importantly) and start of day positions. Check the buying power of each account to make sure they have enough to trade with before market opening.End of day reports include verifying if trades that are detected for spoofing/layering & wash trades are legitimate or not. Cancelling any gtc orders that come through the system at the end of day. Uploading international trade files if any client participated outside the US market.Series 99 & Series 7 licensed.
