With over 17 years of experience across diverse sectors, Garret has excelled in both large design organizations and innovative startups in Health Tech, AI & Voice Assistants, Consumer Electronics, Digital Appliances, Connected Home, and Entertainment & Sports.Previously, Garret was the Director of Product Design, leading a team of 20+ designers and managers across various design disciplines including product design, design systems, content strategy, visual design, motion design, and industrial design. He spearheaded strategic expansion initiatives, including establishing a presence in new locations such as India, growing and diversifying teams, and refining design processes to enhance effectiveness. Garret\'s team focuses on R&D incubation of new programs, including Women\'s Health, High-Risk Members, Global Expansion, Senior Populations, New Devices, and Exercise Therapy technology, incorporating cutting-edge AI Computer Vision.Prior to that, Garret worked at Amazon within the Device and Services organization, overseeing a team of designers crafting inspiring, cohesive, and meaningful interactions across six business units. He enhanced people\'s lives by reducing friction and driving customer satisfaction and loyalty through high-value experiences leveraging Echo Show, FireTV, and FireTablet capabilities.Garret is dedicated to building resilient, positive culture teams that promote future forward solutions and leverages craft to inspire organizational direction. His notable achievements include leading the redesign of Hinge Health\'s mobile app including integrating AI initiatives, and delivering groundbreaking products like Alexa\'s Echo Show, Amazon\'s FireTV, and Samsung\'s FrameTV and Family Hub refrigerator.
