Ohio born and raised, I went to The Ohio State University. I started in meteorology but switched to journalism, because I couldn\'t do math. Decided junior year I wanted to study student affairs in grad school. Didn\'t get accepted to any school. I worked as an HR Assistant my senior year and liked it, so 2 weeks before graduating I took the GRE (didn\'t have to for higher ed) and applied and got into OSU\'s MLHR program. Despite the learning curve, I graduated and worked in HR administration for a little bit before realizing I needed to switch up the pace and move to LA. In LA, I ended up doing more corporate TA roles before being hired as a Sourcer at Vaco and promoted to Recruiter (strictly recruiting).My strengths as a Recruiter is that I keep in contact and follow up with my candidates (within reason), and keep it real. I am me and nothing else. I\'ve interacted with Recruiters in my own search who have come off as stiff, robotic, and not genuine as people.
