ABOUT GARNET RYDER

I’m an eager professional who loves to solve problems and create solutions. I have the ability to see the big picture, as well as understand & manage the smaller details. I enjoy combining my joy of technology (hardware and sofware), leadership methodologies and team dynamics to build excellent products and deliver exceptional services. As a senior team leader and senior service engineer, I understand the importance of excellent communication and establishing relationships in order to achieve the shared goals of the company, our clients and myself. I like to create procedures, processes and methods to ensure consistent, efficient results. I want to help other people be more efficient to achieve their best results by working together to improve processes. I’m a nerd who’s been working with technology, manufacturing, service, and product design both professionally and personally within many jobs and hobbies since I was very young. I enjoy constantly learning new things. In my personal time, I\'m tinkering with amateur radio, computer systems, Linux, Raspberry Pi SBC, Arduino microcontrollers, and Python programming. When I’m not being all techy, I’m spending time expressing my creative side. I enjoy reading and discussing the diversity of our evolving society. I continue to grow and express my own authentic queer self and supporting other people’s diversity. I enjoy playing Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition Role Playing Gaming to tell stories together and laugh with friends. For me, this is the modern-day method of sitting around a campfire and telling stories with family and friends.
