Responsible for the strategic and operational management of Recreational Therapy and Adaptive Sports programs, as well as After-School, Non-School Days, and Summer components. This leadership role focuses on developing high-quality, inclusive programming, ensuring compliance with licensing and contracts, and fostering strong community partnerships.Key Responsibilities• Program Operations: Oversee daily operations, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.• Budget Management: Develop and monitor program budgets, including grant fund utilization, payroll, and purchasing within designated guidelines.• Program Development: Enhance programs through innovation, assessment, and inclusion initiatives. Coordinate professional development and training opportunities for staff in collaboration with community partners.• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a community liaison, representing programs at key committees (SAC, PTA, BASCC, CSC) and fostering relationships with principals, partners, and families.• Staff Leadership: Mentor and hold program directors accountable to create a culture of ownership and excellence. Facilitate staff training and development to maintain high standards across all locations.• Contract & Licensing Compliance: Ensure adherence to service requirements, licensing protocols, and internal policies, including child abuse reporting and staff-to-child ratios.• Event Coordination & Marketing: Plan and execute special events, community outreach, and marketing initiatives. Develop program materials, flyers, and press releases within budgetary guidelines.• Strategic Growth: Seek opportunities to expand programs to new locations, including Summer Camp, Spring Camp, and other initiatives, while meeting enrollment and attendance goals.
