About Garima Lal Bhattacharya
I am a learning enthusiast with PhD in inorganic materials chemistry from University of Calgary. I have developed a variety of skill set during my academic career with collaborations, conferences and internships all around the world. I excel at laboratory methods and am well trained on a range of instruments such as electron microscopes (SEM/TEM), thermogravimetric analysis/ differential scanning calorimetry (TGA/DSC), powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), rheology and various spectroscopic techniques. Being analytical, collaborative and creative, I have acquired great problem-solving skills and analyze the overall if(s) and but(s) to come to an appropriate solution. In addition, I am an experienced presenter and have taught as well as mentored several undergraduate students successfully.

Setting up new conformal coating facility that includes equipment selection and FAT for the buy off- Working on adhesives and resins used for underfill/ staking/ encapsulation/ conformal coating in PCB assemblies- Evaluating Plasma Etching for adhesion improvements of conformal coating- PCBA manufacturing- learnt SMT, rework, quality checks and issues, functionality tests, wash chemistry. Used tools like Keyence LIBS Elemental Analyzer, Shore Hardness Tester (A,D), Positector, Hipot Testing, Moisture Analyzer for analyses- Trained on J-standard, IPC-A-610 for electronic assemblies, ESD Control and Safety for Electronics Manufacturing
