Hello! I’m a Consultant Psychologist at Amaha. I have completed my MSc in Clinical Psychology from Christ (Deemed to be) University (2023) and BA (Hons) in Psychology from Delhi University (2020). I’ve been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Queer Affirmative Therapy. I also employ a person-centric and mindfulness based approach in my work. Over the years, I have worked across different settings, such as hospitals, long stays for chronic patients, clinics, and early intervention centers for children. Working with clients across different age groups has made me privy to the nuances and difficulties that come with different stages of life. My research interests align with working with the queer community. I am experienced in working with clinical syndromes such as anxiety, mood disorders, panic attacks, OCD, and other concerns such as stress management, self-exploration, and relationship issues. I believe that \"Our true identity is a process, not a substantive thing. Thus we are continually changing.\" Therapy becomes a place to facilitate this reflection, and it is an honor to hold this space for my clients. I am dedicated to employ evidence-based practices and continuously strive to upskill myself in different modalities and techniques. Outside my work, I enjoy creative pursuits, such as origami, and calligraphy. My simple joys are cooking, reading, and watching shows.
