ABOUT GARETH THOMAS DAVIES

I am a Level 5 Sports and Clinical Therapist and the owner of a successful sports injury clinic in Bridgend. I work with local athletes and individuals with occupational injuries, combining advanced clinical training with experience gained in elite sport to deliver accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and long-term injury education.My commitment to continual clinical development and business growth has been recognised with Bridge FM’s Businessman of the Year (2016) and Prestige Awards’ Sports Therapy Company of the Year (2022).Prior to establishing and growing my own practice now consisting of myself and two colleagues I worked as the Soft Tissue and Recovery Therapist for Cardiff Blues Rugby (2009–2013).Alongside my time with the Blues, I have gained extensive hands-on experience across professional and elite sport, working with athletes from youth to senior international level. Organisations I have worked with include: • Dragons (formerly Newport Gwent Dragons) • Wales National Rugby Squad (Six Nations 2010) • Samurai 7s • Wales Rugby League • Bridgend Ravens RFC (youngest recipient of Clubman of the Year) • Swansea City Football ClubIn addition to clinical practice, I have worked as a tutor and assessor on Level 3 Sports Massage courses, previously teaching part-time at Bridgend College. I am Sports Trauma qualified, with additional certifications in medical gases, wound management, and suturing through LUBAS Medical.These skills are applied regularly through pitch-side cover and my private event medical cover services, ensuring high-level care in both clinical and live sporting environments.
