ABOUT GARETH MOTTRAM
I am results focussed, determined, resilient and able to get on in a workplace, I have most recent experience in renewable fuel policies with the UK government. Focussed on renewable fuels from energy P-to-X and hydrogen. Previously I have commercial experience in using S&O planning for balancing future direction against todays targets whilst achieving industry leading progress on sustainable sourcing and circular economy. My long term background in environmental science and data analysis to enable me to credibly drive improvements in sustainability and communicate technically in most kinds of business. I’m experienced at public presentation to, existing and potential customers, as well as journalists and a wider non-specialist base. I’ve presented at fuel industry and government stakeholder workshops, ISPO 2018 and Chemical Watch Business Summit (Amsterdam, 2018). My wide range of recent experience (technical sales, sales management, product and range management, senior management) allows me to deal with multiple elements of almost any product focussed business as I can listen and normally communicate to most specialists in terms they can relate to. My proudest achievements are managing teams who were able to win a Guardian Sustainable Business award (2016), Product Award (apparel) OutDoor 2017 and ISPO Gold Product award.(apparel) 2018, involvement in chilli pepper conservation analysis. experience in: Government, policy analysis, Web and database development, massive dataset analysis, image processing, time series analysis of multidimensional data, GIS and remote sensing analysis.
