ABOUT GARETH MCDONALD
With 19 years of experience in renewable energy development, I began my career in the UK, working on single turbine sites, and have since progressed to leading the development of large-scale renewable energy project pipelines across the US and Canadian markets. I have successfully developed/constructed wind, solar, BESS, and hydroelectric projects, with a specialized focus on comprehensive project development, project management, stakeholder engagement, relationship management, public outreach, and business development. Having worked on both small and large-scale projects in diverse markets, I understand that challenges are inevitable. A proactive development approach, coupled with effective and timely management of these challenges, is key to ensuring project success. I bring deep experience in leading and delivering complex, large-scale projects to COD.
