Full responsibility for leadership and management of the logistics operations in the Wrightbus Ballymena facility. Warehouse Management:• Work with departmental director in the development of the Wrightbus strategy in accordance with the objectives vision and values of the Group.• Lead and manage the logistics team, providing guidance, support, and fostering a positive work environment.• Ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of all logistics operations, with a focus on ensuring zero part shortages.• Implement best practices in logistics operations to optimise efficiency and reduce costs.• Ownership of KPI\'s for Procurement Department. Health and Safety:• Prioritise and enforce strict adherence to health and safety guidelines and regulations within the logistics operations.Stock Control:• Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize stock discrepancies and ensure accurate stock levels.• Monitor and analyse stock data to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and delegate appropriate actions.• Work with relevant stakeholders across the business to ensure the organisation has good effective governance in place with robust internal controls. Process Improvement:• Continuously review and enhance logistics processes and disciplines to improve productivity, accuracy, and overall performance.• Introduce and promote lean principles and continuous improvement.Performance Management:• Set performance targets for the logistics team and conduct regular performance reviews.• Identify training needs and provide opportunities for skill development.• Drive a culture of continuous improvement across all areas of the organisation.• Act as a key driver in change initiatives influencing engagement across all parts of the organisation. Technology and Systems:• Utilise the latest warehouse management systems and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.• Implement and manage warehouse management software effectively.
