I am currently responsible for managing the Commissioning Team, and Service team working on onshore projects. My daily tasks and responsibilities include:• Understanding and ensuring compliance with company health and safety regulations/quality standards.• Leading the commissioning department with onsite daily tasks within the Turbine.• Training of New Commissioning Technicians on site.• Training contractors using CAP Training with in the Wind Turbine• Commissioning and modifying existing electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.• Testing and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems including troubleshooting and problem-solving.• Specifying various electrical and hydraulic components for installations.• Maintaining and replacing of large components.• Uploading and editing Commissioning software. • Liaising with clients, suppliers and contractors on site. • Keeping records and reports, use of approved safety PPE/LOTO devices, techniques anddocumentation performing proper electrical and mechanical isolation• Ensuring Turbines are snag free at hand over. • Understanding of SCADA, Fibre Optics and HV switchgears.• Servicing of Wind Turbines.
