Engaged with Pathway as a deputy project manager and team leader to provide security services at major live events within UK including Glastonbury Festival and the British Grand Prix. Working directly to the Chief Operation Officer and Director of Operations, my primary roles included: Management of teams of up to 90 people. Assessing and managing threats as they developed at events. Providing close protection to VIPs. Coordinating covert surveillance operations in conjunction with local constabularies. Deploying asset protection and enhanced search operations at key vulnerable areas. Ensuring that all teams work bilaterally with other stakeholders. As a deputy project manager, my main responsibility was for ensuring that all contracted services were delivered in line with the agreed schedules of the designated event. This included being a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders of each event and available for all prevent planning meetings and site visits.Operationally, I was responsible for the communication and coordination between multiple event stakeholders include the event and local authorities’ gold, silver and bronze team, various emergency services and other security companies.
