ABOUT GARETH DAVIES

I am a multi skilled supervisor in both the telecoms and earthworks sectors Working on the Hs2 project, I was overseeing large scale earthwork projects, platform building for piling, embankment layering and stabilisation. I am supervising all types of contractors, machinery and operatives such as traffic Marshalls and Groundworker to ensure a safe and efficient working site for a large scale project such as a high speed railway. I am fully accredited to Openreach standards. I have worked on PON builds, both rural and in towns on ONSA, BDUK and Falcon projects. I’m a confident splicer and I am not averse to either OH or UG work both on the spine or the tail end of builds. I currently hold the following which are all on my NOPS card Confined space OH safety UG safety One Fibre Network FTTP N23 Qualified Heavy cabling Hand rodding TRROFN OH cabling PCP work Internal wiring Dropwiring techniques I also achieved and hold all 9 modules within the NWRSA ( which includes SLG, excavations, reinstatement and CAT & Genny )CSCS, NWSRA streetworks supervisor and operative both yellow and white cards. holder Ipaf Previous roles have given me extensive Lantra experience in traffic management working on both A&B roads and high speed dual carriageways.
