ABOUT GARETH CATTELL

Setting a high bar when providing excellent customer satisfaction with products ranging from mortgages, mortgage protection and general insurance I was welcomed with year on year recognition. I truly enjoyed helping many customers both face to face and via telephone discussions. This allowed me to truly understand customer needs and tailor products to suit whilst ensuring they didn’t have to worry about finances should the worst happen. I valued this time as it taught me the true value in a customer journey. Focussing on personal growth, I decided to move away from sales challenging myself to develop others at the same time as gaining a better understanding of compliance. Covering an area from Stirling to Workington, I thoroughly enjoyed coaching individuals from new starts to fully competent individuals within their roles, whilst retaining these individuals within a team of competent advisors.I worked with both mortgage advisors and non regulated banking advisors within a training & competence capacity, assisting people gaining and maintaining competence. Following successful year on year collaboration with the teams I held a strong understanding of coaching, developing, training & competence, quality and compliance. Combined with my previous sales experience I found a passion for helping others grow as individuals and thrive within a team environment.Moving into a role of leading people was a natural step and I gained experience as a people leader in branch networks, contact centre environments and mortgage hubs. Helping individuals grow has been truly humbling. I provide a transparent culture of growth, positivity & empowerment.Allowing people to be themselves in a safe environment with a team ethos has led to unprecedented success thus far, all to benefit our customers experience and satisfaction, helping the team grow assisting business growth.My personal mantra is work hard, think positively whilst always learning, have no regrets, be passionate with an altruism edge. Take time to reflect, adjust and adapt, lastly never forget why we do what we do, so enjoy it and have a little fun along the way.
