ABOUT GARETH BARKER

With a background in Water and Sewerage Utilities and Developer Services, I bring an operational and strategic approach to the implementation of planning and the delivery of our capital programs. I specialise in Developer Driven Growth, provision of infrastructure through data and market Insights, and driving improvements in the Developer Services Measure of Experience (DMEX). I take a regional view of Growth and Strategy for Developer Services and manage various Managers and teams that are focussed on Process Management (Systems and Analytics), Developer Income and Performance, supporting NAV and Self-lay competition, Developer and Local Planning Authority Account Management, Growth Planning Engineering for sites from 10 to properties and Developer Market Insight and Analytics. I previously led the delivery of Developer Growth at the Price Review 2019. I was responsible for forecasting the expenditure and developer contributions in AMP7 for New Connections, Housing Estate Mains, Sewerage provisions, Network Reinforcement for Water and Sewerage, and Diversions. As a leader my focus is on mentoring and developing staff so we can thrive and achieve our goals and ambitions together.
