My role as both Senior Occupational Hygiene & Safety Consultant and National OH & S Practice Lead for Pinchin Ltd. includes developing OH & S policies, programs and procedures, conducting occupational hygiene surveys, and providing training and seminars for Pinchin staff and clients. I help employers and employees build safe and healthy workplaces. Although based in Hamilton, I have a national focus on business and travel across our service regions to help increase the OH & S services offered by Pinchin in our regional offices.I work with clients in all sectors. My past experience as a Ministry of Labour inspector, hygienist and Program Manager, and private sector responsibilities in OH & S, environment and quality assurance enhance my capabilities as a consultant, and help me speak the language of our clients. I am an Ontario Ministry of Environment recognized toxicologist, with over 27 years experience as an occupational hygienist and general health and safety practitioner. I never say ‘no’ to education and my diverse educational credentials make me eminently qualified to work across many fields and disciplines. I hold an MBA, a Master of Chemical Engineering (Occupational Hygiene), and a Master of Science degree in Health Behaviour. I also hold an Honours B.Sc. in Health Studies. I am a Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH), a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), and Certified Environmental Systems Manager (CESM); with a professional designation in Quality Auditing.
