WORK HISTORY
Master Data Manager @Hess Corporation
US
In this role, I stepped into one of the most complex and foundational challenges in supply chain—data integrity and governance at scale—and had the opportunity to help turn it into a strategic advantage for the organization.I led the shift from reactive data management to a more structured, AI-enabled, enterprise-wide approach, partnering closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to redefine how data supports operations and decision-making. This work expanded my impact from operational execution to enterprise transformation, strengthening my ability to lead at scale, integrate emerging technologies like AI, and influence strategy across the organization.A big part of my focus has been building scalable, sustainable solutions. I advised leadership on Vendor Master governance strategy, helping centralize due diligence across suppliers, business owners, and control functions. I also led a GenAI transformation, scaling from pilot to enterprise deployment across approximately materials and more than purchase lines, and deployed more than enriched records into SAP Production—significantly improving data completeness from 53% to over 90%.I also strengthened supplier data governance through full re-registration of more than 3,300 vendors in a newly implemented Ariba SLP platform. Despite introducing additional due diligence requirements, I was able to sustain onboarding cycle time at under 7 days (down from 35+ days), while reducing Ariba–ERP integration errors by 95% through automation and embedding ESG-aligned criteria. This experience has reinforced my focus on building structured, data-driven systems that scale—combining governance, process discipline, and technology to drive meaningful, measurable business outcomes.

ABOUT GABRIELA GARCIA
I’ve built my career at the intersection of supply chain, data, and transformation—solving complex problems that others often accept as “just the way things are.” What drives me is taking fragmented, inefficient processes and turning them into structured, scalable systems that actually work—across people, platforms, and functions. Over the years, I’ve evolved from managing contracts and operational execution to leading enterprise-wide supply chain transformation initiatives, partnering closely with procurement, operations, finance, IT, and executive leadership. That evolution has shaped how I lead today:→ I don’t just fix problems—I build sustainable operating models→ I don’t work in silos—I align stakeholders across the enterprise→ I don’t chase trends—I apply the right technology to solve real business challenges Most recently, I’ve been leading initiatives that sit at the core of modern supply chains—data, governance, and digital enablement. From deploying AI-driven material master transformation to redesigning vendor onboarding and governance frameworks, my focus has been on creating clarity, speed, and trust in the data that drives decisions.A few areas where I’ve made the biggest impact- Scaling GenAI-enabled data transformation across tens of thousands of records - Rebuilding vendor and material master governance from the ground up - Driving cycle time reductions from 45 days to 10 days in core processes - Establishing Lean operating rhythms, KPIs, and dashboards that sustain performance I’m known for being someone who can step into ambiguity, quickly understand the root of the problem, and bring structure, alignment, and momentum to move things forward. At my core, I’m a builder, a problem-solver, and a transformation leader—focused on creating supply chain organizations that are not just efficient today, but ready for what’s next.
