As a Construction Project Architect, I am responsible for negotiating with subs and interdisciplinary professionals to develop building plans that meet the needs of our clients, prepare code analyses as well as design systems such: architectural drawings & 3D models, specifications, and bid packages; my work also includes reviewing/approving submittals from contractors while ensuring compliance.Working as a Construction Project Architect requires the ability to negotiate, maintain project records while resolving any issues that may arise during construction, and most importantly, to be a team player.The use of different levels of BIM technology, as well as Gaming technologies, has allowed us to deliver and achieve engaging designs at a faster rate. Being able to implement Virtual Reality into my process has speeded up decision-making, not only for our team but for our clients, facilitating communication between us, our clients, and contractors. By implementing these technologies has made an overall better experience for everyone involved with our projects.
