ABOUT GRAHAM ORMONDROYD

My research interests are based around renewable materials, and their use to combat climate change. My speciality is based around timber and its use in construction. As the Director of the BioComposites Centre, I led a team of cross disciplinary scientists to help to deliver the drive towards Net Zero. These include materials scientists, chemists, mycologists and systems modellers (including specialists in LCA and social LCA) I am a PRINCE2 practitioner and member of the Institute of Line Managers and am interested in the development of research management systems.I have published over 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, contributed to 7 books and recently edited \'Designing with Natural Materials\' I am currently the Vice President of the Institute of Materials Minerals and Mining.Specialities: Timber, Wood Science, Microbiology, Mycology, SEM operator, bench scientist, PRINCE2 practitioner, Chemical modification of wood, recycling research
