SimCorp Dimension (Portfolio & General Ledger Accounting Application) • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills with ability to comprehend and translate complex issues to senior management, internal stakeholders and technical teams in a global environment • Participation with vendor and various internal teams (including but not limited to enterprise architects, VMWare, DBA, Linux, Storage, Control-M, etc. and several other teams to identify required hardware for Franklin Templeton’s solution that was put together • Orchestrating effort of infrastructure build of several environments by working with several teams across the enterprise • Setup of SimCorp Dimension application in Franklin data center from pre-config state to ongoing customization and builds • Migrate Simcorp Environments from ON-PREM to AWS Cloud • Replace Virtual machines with AWS Appstream, File Server with Fsx • DR solution across multiple availability zones and regions • Built 10 different environments each encompassing File Server, Application Servers, MUCS servers, & DB Servers. • Setting up of Service Platform to support the application needs in scaling up/down as needed based on the time of day • Setup up several communication services to process various kinds of DATA within the application (Includes SM, TRADES, Corporate Actions, SWIFT Messages, Reconciliation, Settlements, Payments, Calculation Services, STP services, Message queue services, etc.) • Setting up of “Day-In-Life” automation by setting up various batch jobs groups (via Control-M scheduler) & setting up of a MODEL • Applying SimCorp Dimension application patches from time to time as needed • Support daily, weekly, & adhoc refresh requests to assist various streams of testing on an ongoing basis • Configure & Installation of the SimCorp Dimension Local Installations on all RDSH hosts
