ABOUT GANESH MAMODALY

With over 13 years of experience in the biotechnology industry, primarily at Amgen, I have held various positions in financial forecasting, analytics, data management, and project management. I hold a Doctorate in Pharmacy and graduated from ESCP Europe with a Master’s in Pharmaceutical Marketing. I recently decided to redirect my career towards scientific research and the non-profit sector after my son was diagnosed with a rare disease. A Personal and Professional Mission As my son is affected by a rare genetic disease, I had to rethink my professional priorities. After noticing the lack of treatment for Microvillus Inclusion Disease (MVID), I decided to create the Cure MVID Association. The goal of this association is to actively fund and support clinical and scientific research efforts to better understand MVID and develop new treatment strategies. The Cure MVID Association To date, we have managed to unite over thirty families from around the world who are waiting for a treatment for their children. 🧬 We are committed to advancing scientific research on MVID and rare diseases in general, which severely impact a large number of children. A Total Commitment This event radically changed my professional goals and aspirations. I decided to dedicate my life to advancing scientific research on MVID and, more broadly, on rare diseases.
