Ensure adherence to data governance frameworks and regulatory requirements. Develop a product data management strategy aligned with business objectives• Risk and Compliance Management: Ensure product data meets regulatory and industry standards. Identify risks associated with data inaccuracies and implement preventive measures. Prepare and maintain product data for internal and external audits.• Data Quality & Integrity: Oversee the validation, cleansing and enrichment of product data. Ensure uniformity in product data across systems and departments. Implement tools and processes to regularly monitor data quality • Performance Measurement: Measure the performance of the CoE to ensure it meets its objectives and delivers business benefits.• Cross functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various functional teams like R&D, marketing, product management, sales and supply chain to align on data needs • Team Leadership: Lead a team of global professionals to manage commercial product and service catalogs and associated product life cycle data in various business systems - PLM systems, CfLM systems, CPQ systems, commercial and factory ERP systems, etc.• Capability Building: Set up various capabilities within CoE team from scratch across Chennai, Bangalore, US and Panama hubs • Best Practices: Define and develop standards and best practices for product data management like version control, lifecycle monitoring and data centralization• Training and Support: Provide training and support to product managers and other stakeholders to help them excel in their roles.• Continuous Improvement: Encourage a continuous improvement mindset to constantly seek ways to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
