Roles and Responsibilities handled in work experience • Planning • Monthly plan Scheduling • Costing • Resource planning • Risk analyzing • Procurement • Delivering • Stakeholder communications Project Coordination • Maintain a holistic view of all projects and ensure the coordination of activities required to complete projects. • Collaborate with project engineers to provide project updates, share relevant information and plan/initiate actions to advance the project, ensure a controlled delivery and prevent timeline slippage. • Ensure proper trade selection, trade management and vendor compliance. • Schedule & co-ordinate construction trades and emergency crews, including ongoing • Progress updates to ensure timely project completion. • Coordinate any required permits with appropriate governing body including building permits, inspections and approvals. • Review data and information generated by the Project Engineer(s), Operations and/or Sub Trades and prepare information materials for briefing and review sessions. • Assist in the resolution of change requests, unforeseen additional work, and other issues. Ensure proper documentation of all changes to original estimate are secured, specifically written and signed change orders. • Manage project budget/estimate. Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for each project. Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and utilization. • Supports Project Engineer(s) in ensuring that all invoicing forecasted for the month is completed. Customer Service Excellence • Ongoing reviewing of projects to ensure customer and Company KPI’s are being met and either follows up with Project Engineers to ensure task completion or, if possible, completes the task on their own initiative. • Receives, screens, logs and routes correspondence, attaching necessary background information and maintaining follow-up system for action and deadlines.
