Injection Mould Manufacturing & Development1.Supervise end-to-end mould design, manufacturing, and assembly processes.2.Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams for new tool development and trials.3.Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Poka yoke).4.Ensure adherence to PFMEA, DFMEA, and PFD for robust process quality.5.Mould Maintenance & Troubleshooting7.Analyze tool failures, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.8.Optimize mould performance and cycle times to improve productivity and reduce downtime.9.Plan and execute new tool development projects within timelines and budgets.10.Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for tool manufacturing and modifications.11.Conduct trials, validation, and approval for new moulds and components.12.Prepare and present project reports to management with progress updates.13.Lead, mentor, and train a team of toolmakers, maintenance technicians, and operators.15.Maintain records of maintenance schedules, mould history cards, and quality documentation. 16.Expertise in Injection Mould Design, Manufacturing, and Assembly.17.Hands-on experience with Toolroom Machines (CNC, EDM, WEDM, Milling, Grinding, etc.).18.Strong knowledge of Preventive, Predictive & Breakdown Maintenance practices.19.Proficient in GD & T, 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD, UG/NX).20.Familiar with PFMEA, DFMEA, PFD, and APQP documentation.21.Knowledge of Plastic Processing Parameters & Mould Trial Procedures.22.Project planning, monitoring, and execution (NPD & Tool Room Projects).23.Vendor development and coordination for tool manufacturing/modification.24.Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and cost reduction initiative25 building, training, and manpower management.26.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Root Cause Analysis)27.Effective communication and cross-functional coordination.28.Decision-making and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
