Created and performed protocol test scenarios to validate 2G, 3G, 4G (LTE) & 5G(NR) SA and NSA (NR – Millimeter Wave and Sub-6 FDD and TDD) on communication devices (mobile phones, smart watches, Mi-FI devices, CPE devices) in lab and live networks and executed operator-specific testing in various markets across USA. • Report software issues after preliminary log analysis using QXDM, QCAT and collaborate with R&D to fix it. • Technical interfacing with Network operators, Modem chipset providers, and R&D engineers to do due diligence, debug failures, suggest fixes, improve the software, enhance test procedures, document various procedures and debug techniques. • Performed mobile interoperability tests on a live network to check device and network stability, tests include DCR (dropped call rate), KPI, throughput, handovers (Inter and Intra frequency, Inter RAT), power consumption, mRAB, protocol stress, mobility, etc. • Performed automation testing using Robot Arm for automation stress, battery drain and charging test cycles. • Performed testing on novel LTE/NR technologies and features like multi-CA, 4x4 MIMO (12 Layers),256 QAM, 4RxD, SRVCC, IR-94, RCS/IPME and LAA (Licensed Assisted Access).• Performed various throughput tests using mobile applications like Ookla, Datum (Spirent), Iperf, on different AT & T, Verizon, Sprint, US Cellular and T-Mobile carriers and analyze data throughput from Application and Physical layers.• Created ADB scripts to Automate Test cases for Regression Testing and Issue reproductions• Hands-on experience in using lab equipment to reproduce live field problems by simulating test cases on the network simulated by the lab equipment. • Good understanding of carrier certification and software release cycle tests for major US carriers.
