Managing and leading the UK certification team, creating clear priorities, establishing intent, empowering the team• Engaging with CAA within the context of ADOA organisation and discussing regulatory updates and expectations from the business• Monitoring the regulation updates to reflect the business procedures and providing input to the Leadership and Process Improvement Board • Coaching and mentoring the team members in technical and leadership skills• Working with the bids and proposals team – providing estimations for the certification activities• Engaging with Project/Program managers to discuss the program needs• Resource management for the UK certification team• Working with the functional leaders to raise the certification awareness and updating them with project certification status• Performing performance and career conversations with the certification team• Participating the daily management meetings with the engineering functional leaders – escalating the issues when needed• Working with the engineering leader to understand the training gaps and deliver required certification related trainings for the business• Participate meetings, conferences, symposiums where it’s relevant to the business and flow down the information thru the business• Working with the team and project leads to decide on the certification strategy and level of involvement from the cert activities• Working with the Global certification team, creating working groups and assigning tasks to the team for process improvement and training opportunities• Implementing the Lean and FLIGHDECK aspects to improve the efficiency and increase the value added to the projects • Implementing standard work through FLIGHTDECK and driving quick escalations and decision making• Participating Airworthiness Board Meetings (AWB) within ADS Group representing the business• Guiding the certification team on decisions like defining the certification basis and LOI (Level of Involvement)
