I\'m an Arizona native and curious journalist who strives to produce well-written stories from unique angles. I was a writer for the Arizona Mirror while serving as the University of Arizona School of Journalism’s Don Bolles Fellow. During this time I covered the state legislature, gaining insight into the policies that affect our fellow Arizonans. I am currently active in the reporting of social justice issues.

   As Communications specialist at the Primavera Foundation, I support the organization’s mission to co-create pathways out of poverty through housing, workforce development, financial education, and community engagement. In this role, I- Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, website, and promotional materials- Capture photography and videography that highlight Primavera’s impact and community stories- Draft press releases, articles, and other written materials to amplify the organization’s mission- Support event coverage and provide real-time storytelling through multimedia- Engage with community members and partners to build relationships and share authentic narratives- Collaborate with the communications team to ensure consistent, compelling outreach.Through this internship, I’m gaining hands-on experience in communications, journalism, social media management, event planning, and community engagement while contributing to meaningful change in Southern Arizona.
