WASE has developed a revolutionary approach to wastewater treatment. Our Electro-Methanogenic Reactor (EMR) provides a circular approach, using waste to generate high quality biogas, fertilisers, and water. Since co-founding the company in 2018, I worked as the CTO until 2022 when changed my role to allow for more experienced technical management to bring WASE to the next level. In my new role, I am responsible for the development of the control system for our technology. The control system is responsible for monitoring and controlling our systems both locally and remotely, as well as a cloud-based data storage that allows both clients and operators to manipulate and learn from our systems. Our vision for the control system is for it to utilise biosensing to enable our reactors to be self-maintaining through the eventual implementation of machine learning.
