ABOUT GAMAL LEWIS CMGR

Views are my own and not the views of the John Lewis Partnership.I\'m currently the People Engagement & Development Manager for our Customer Contact operation of Partners across the UK and lead the training and knowledge functions that support In-house and Outsource operations globally. I am an experienced leader and have led large management teams across varied and complex areas covering sales, HR, supply chain, loss prevention, IT and hospitality responsible for around 300 employees. I joined my current employer at entry level over 20 years ago and worked my way up through the company to senior leadership. Most recently I\'ve worked in our Head Office in Organisation Design & Development on large scale HR change and in our Employee Engagement profession providing both thought leadership and consultancy in proposition design to senior leaders upto Director level.I\'m a trained coach having acquired an Accredited Diploma in Coach Training. I\'ve completed just under 200 hours of coaching and I\'m part of our internal coach network. I\'m also a qualified HR professional having recently completed my L5 Diploma in Human Resource Management. I\'m adaptable and able to work in high levels of ambiguity. I can make sense of large amounts of complex information and cut through it to identify clear actions. I work well with others and enjoy creating close, trusting and healthy working relationships. I also enjoy mentoring talented individuals to support them achieving their potential.
